My Story
I’ve always been drawn to both software and healthcare. At the University of Michigan, I split my time between pre-med courses and computer science until I had to choose a direction. Along the way, I completed EMT training and spent time shadowing surgeons in the OR, which gave me a firsthand look into medicine and how rewarding helping people can be. I ultimately chose software, but my passion for medicine never left. That combination of technical skill and medical experience naturally led me toward health tech.

After graduating, I expanded on that passion while working as a software developer for the U.S. Army. There, I built machine learning models to help predict injuries, from forecasting bone stress fractures with 3D neural networks to estimating core body temperature in extreme environments. That experience showed me how powerful software can be in addressing challenges that impact health and safety.

Now, as CTO of Solstis, I see the work we are doing as the perfect blend of both worlds. With the skills I have developed in software and the perspective I carry from medicine, I am excited to help create tools that give people confidence and clarity when it matters most.
